I was taking photographs recently in St Andrew's Church of Ireland graveyard, Scotshouse, Monaghan, and I came across this headstone to Mina Jordan, a nurse who had served in the Great War. It is the first memorial I have seen in this county to a woman who was involved in the war, though there are many that commemorate men.
