I have provided items belonging to my father, Capt. R.V. Stanford, who saw action in Egypt, Gallipoli, France and Belgium. The items include:
1) A brief war record of Capt. Stanford
2) Personal souvenirs kept by him i.e.
A battalion bugle given to my father by his bat-man. They had become very close during the war.
A belt with regimental badges
A photo album
Spurs, medals and miniature medals
3) Recollections as told to me, his daughter, Rosemary Stanford
